I have always been interested in history and knowing what came before us, how our ancestors lived, what they thought, etc.

As I am getting older I am realizing how much more important this information is and I am stepping up my efforts in searching for my family and hope to help others do the same along the way.  Unfortunately, most of the older people in my family are gone now and the one aunt I have left does not remember as well as she used to.

I believe it’s not just enough to find out who our ancestors were and where they are buried but to find out more about their everyday lives.

My goal is to start writing out the family stories I have heard for years and years, with a combination of traditional genealogy forms, journaling and scrapbooking and also record my own experiences to pass on to my daughter and her children.

This is a new site in progress and I intend to add lots of free informational sources, creative ideas, , along with encouragement to not let those family stories, histories and traditions fall by the way.

I hope to make many family connections and also maybe provide links to family connections for YOU…
